At St. Mary’s Nursery we recognise that children learn in different ways and at different rates. We place value on all areas of learning and ensure that we allow all children to develop at their own pace.

We operate a key person system and children are placed in mixed age groups, and within those groups staff ensure that children work, play and learn at their own speed. Key people constantly monitor and observe the children’s progress and will use these observations to plan further activities based around the child’s individual needs.
